Here is an interesting tid-bit along the lines with the soft reset issue everyone was linking to JB. In previous posts, I mentioned that my PPC was hanging on MP3's and I was having to soft reset every time I pulled the PPC out of the sync cradle.
To confirm the BP was the issue with my MP3's, I unistalled it completely and haven't had a problem since. After a day or so, I installed the oldest release of v4 of BP and my Dell Axim still plays those MP3's flawlessly.
NOW for the interesting part. My PPC was having to be soft reset every time I pulled it out of the sync cradle. Other posts seem to link this with JB and it's efforts to update via the web. However, since I have installed the old version of BP and have maintained the most recent version of JB -6 my PPC has never encountered a soft reset. Not ONCE.
So, I would like some confirmation here from those of you running both systems and having the soft reset issue. Unistall BP and leave JB on your PPC. See if your soft reset goes away.
