I just spotted this app today, and it's absolutely fantastic! I do, however, have an issue with it that will keep me from making a purchase at this time.
On my Toshiba e755 w/ WMM 2003, IP Dashboard runs fine, but my PPC locks up when I try to go to the Today Control Panel applet to change the location of items on my Today screen. As soon as I hit the "Items" tab, the unit locks up. If I uninstall IP Dashboard, I'm able to get to this tab again.
On a potentially related note, the install always hangs at the point in which it's writing uninstall information and locks the PPC as above.
I love this app and am really looking forward to using it! Thanks.

SFCrisp -
Thanks for alerting us to this issue - this is the first we have heard of it. We have a lot of Toshiba e740 customers, this must be a problem somehow introduced by either the migration to WMM 2003 or the new e755 device.
If you wouldn't mind helping us debug it, please look at the other thread in this forum entitled "How to generate a debug file" and please send the debug file in to support AT hudsonmobile.com. We can then work with you via email to try and figure out what is going on.
Are there any other e755 users out there that have experienced the same thing?
Regards,
Hudson Mobile

Got your email re the other Today screen apps I've got. I've got Omega One's Journal Bar and Battery Bar, tAgenda and Scary Bear's QuickTasks. I uninstalled all of them and IP Dashboard installed correctly! Then I added them back in one by one and everything was still working fine. Things look good. Thanks!

Wow - great - that is good news! *thumbsup*
As always, please let us know if you see any other issues...

Sorry. I spoke too soon. I'm narrowing it down. As soon as I turn my wifi back on, it locks up again on the Today dialog. When I turn wifi off, I can get into the dialog no problem. If I get a chance this week, I'll do a hard reset so no other apps are installed (Dang I love Pocket Backup) and we'll see if the same holds true on a clean image.

Well, I tried the hard reset this morning, and still have the same problem. When IP Dashboard is installed on a completely clean system and the WiFi is on, I can't get into the dialog. If WiFi is off, I can.
I ended up buying it a few days ago anyway (under my real name) as I can always turn the WiFi off the few times I need to get into this dialog.
If you have further tests/trials you'd like me to try, feel free to email me. Love the app.
P.S. Anyone else with the e75x and WMM 2003 chime in saying it worked or not?

Sorry to hear that the outcome didn't change on the hard reset device, glad to hear that you liked the product enough to buy it anyway. I have not heard from any other e755 users, but they could be voting with their feet. We have many e740 users at this point. We may ultimately purchase an e755 for in-house development, but probably not for another month or so, at which point we can better try and replicate what you are seeing.
Thanks for sticking with the problem and reporting back.

As a new Toshiba e755 owner (and purchaser of IP Dashboard), I can essentially confirm what Frankie has said.
Here's what I've found (starting from a clean install):
1. If the Toshiba's WiFi "hard switch" is turned on when installing IP Dashboard, the installation hangs at the end (although it actually seems to end up installing OK anyway). If you leave WiFi off, the install goes cleanly.
2. Then with Battery Pack 2003 installed *AND* WiFi on, I *can* in fact navigate to the "Items" tab of the Today Settings control panel without crashing (although I think at least once in my testing it might have hung). But definitely if I instead click the little red & white "bullseye" of Battery Pack (which is simply a shortcut to that same Items tab), the Toshiba hangs. If WiFi is off, however, there's no problem. Also, notably, the Battery Pack bullseye works just fine with Wifi on, as long as IP Dashboard is *not* installed.
So given the sum of these parts, I'd say it's IP Dashboard that needs a fix. I've got to say that IP Dashboard looked so awesome that I went ahead and bought it without even trying it out. I really want to keep it, without worrying about hanging my system, so I hope (beg) you'll pick up (or borrow) an e755 with Windows Mobile 2003 very very soon and find a fix!
Thanks,
Brent

Thanks for providing some additional detail and confirming that this is not an isolated incident -- we are now working to get an e755 in house to replicate the issue, do testing and hopefully fix the problem.
