XCPUScalar 2004 v2.80 has been released, support for Dell Axim X30 and other PXA270 processors.

NEW: Support from 100 to 741MHz, WM2003 SE and PXA270 processor support:
XCPUScalar now has support for all popular frequencies from 100 to 741MHz. PXA250 XScale processors can be scaled upto 500MHz, PXA255, PXA261, PXA262 or PXA263 XScale processors upto 530MHz at 265MHz bus speed, and PXA270 processors upto 741MHz. XCPUScalar automatically detects your PDA and applies the best clock speed, bus speed, and memory speed ratios for your PDA for optimum performance.

NOTE: Axim X30 users, please set your power setting in control panel to "Maximum Performance" before using XCPUScalar 2004. This prevents lockups / conflicts from occuring. This is true for other Axims as well.

If you downloaded v2.80 in last 24 hours, re-download again. I updated the binaries, there was an uninstall bug were the files were not being uninstalled. Now they do.

FYI: Almost all Axim X30 Low and X30 Mid 312MHz PDA's can reach 520MHz and very stable. X30 High can reach 741MHz.

Hello,

I am having an X30 High with the A02 rom. After activating XCPUScalar 2.80 with speed higher than 624 it freezes my pda after about 30 seconds. On my pda it doesnot work.

Try this.

1.) Set the Power Setting to "Maximum Performance" on your PDA, click apply, then ok.
2.) Do a soft reset.
3.) Run XCPUScalar.

I usually do step 1 and 3 to get mine to clock behond 624MHz, but some folks have to also do step #2.
