PhatWare has released the all new WritePad v5 for iPad and iPhone. WritePad v5 is a MAJOR upgrade for WritePad - PhatWare's popular note taking and handwriting recognition software for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch devices.

WritePad 5 allows synchronizing WritePad documents with Evernote, plus offers an improved handwriting recognition engine, document statistics, and the ability to upload documents to Google Docs as PDF or text.



Here's what's new in WritePad 5
- Improved handwriting recognition engine now allows disabling unused letter shapes, which may help to expedite the application's learning curve.
- Synchronization with Evernote (Options->Synchronization Settings).
- New command displays document statistics, such as word and character count (Toolbar->Info).
- Improved synchronization with Dropbox.
- New command allows users to upload WritePad documents to their Google Documents account as text or PDF (Share->Send to Google Docs).
- Improved user interface and graphics.
- Text selection modified to mimic standard iPad selection style.
