Recognize greek letters for math homework

When notetaking the handwriting converter changes all the letters into the same size font. It would be nice if it could recognize font size as well. It also would be nice if it kept my formatting as well

When using shape recognizing it would help if it were easier to connect lines together

Your wish already came true: Shorthands are in WritePad for iPad 2.4 or later and integrated with Input panel. When editing text using the handwriting panel, you can use same shorthands as in WritePad and add your own. For example, write "date", observe the "date" button appearing in the panel's button bar, touch this button to insert the current date.
